May 19, 2005 - Research Tour

The Sullivan County Genealogical Society will participate in a 1-day group research tour to the East Tennessee Historical Society's new facility in downtown Knoxville. Time will be allowed for hands-on research at the Calvin M. McClung collection. The group will depart from Blountville at 7:00 a.m. and return at approximately 8:30 p.m. Those participating must pre-register before April 30, 2005.

About our Trips

Who Can Go
Anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in historical and genealogical research may participate in our tours. Additionally, you may take your spouse and friends. Nothing is more fun than being on board a bus or plane with several other zany researchers!

Our Cancellation Policy
Due to the fact that we are financially obligated and under contract to the hotels and transportation providers for several weeks prior to departure, we do have a no-cancellation, no-refund policy. In the event that there are too few participants for any one given trip, however, we do reserve the right to cancel the trip and give full refunds to those who have paid their fees.
